HannibalHannibal is a fashion label for men only, which was founded in 2008 by Munich-born Simon Hannibal Fischer in 2008. He successfully graduated at fashion design school AMD as one of the best in his year with the collection “dandyism”. In october 2008 he presented his first collection, Spring / Summer 2009. His collections, which are mainly inspired by the time of the Industrial Revolution are characterized by puristic design, clear lines, slim fits and a passion for details. Each piece enjoys full attention and is highly sophisticated when it comes to interaction of fabric, pattern and perfect fit. Special attention is shifted to using natural fabrics, that feel and also look good. Predominately Hannibal stands for individual, wearable design combined with avantgardistic elements of dressy street wear. High quality and sustainability are the major aspirations. All pieces are made in Germany in order to support local tailors and avoid long transport routes. Despite social commitment, Hannibal is dedicated to support art projects as well. Young creatives, such as photographers, designers or painters get the possibility to exhibit their works at the Hannibal shop in Munich. The goal is to strenghten Munich’s subcultural scene and to offer young talents a communication- and presentation platform.
